About Jane

I’m a woman with a lifetime of experience, as a mother of five, partner, ex-wife, sister, friend and daughter and that’s before I even begin with my working life…...

I’ve spent over three decades working in several sectors, and when I haven’t been happy with things in my life, I’ve changed them, and believe me, I’ve made a few changes! I think that’s what makes me fearless in my approach to coaching, I walk the walk as well as talking the talk.

I’m so aware that we only have this one life to create what we want and leave behind the things that do not serve us. It’s so important to know and understand our barriers so that we can learn how they shape our behaviours, and they don’t become the boss of us. I’m passionate about these things, I see the potential in absolutely everyone and I have a strong belief that the only thing that holds us back from having what we want is ourselves.

My Journey to Therapeutic Coaching

My path to becoming a therapeutic coach wasn’t straightforward as is so often the way!

I worked in the arts as a dance artist in residence in my early career where I met amazing creative people and curated amazing projects. After that I landed a senior corporate leadership position and for over two decades I worked for a number of blue-chip international companies. I had fun, it was varied, and I worked with literally hundreds of people but there was always a part of me that felt unfulfilled or a bit like a square peg in a round hole. I was also made redundant three times which taught me first-hand about resilience, reinvention and the courage it takes to start again.

After the last redundancy I went back to university to study dance movement psychotherapy and later trained as a coach and I’m so glad I did.

In one of my coach roles whilst working with a team of counsellors I was encouraged to continue with my therapeutic training, and I am so grateful they gave me that insight because it means I’m able to offer a unique blend of coaching and therapy.

I’ve overcome so many blocks along the way and even started at the bottom in a new industry but now I am in the most rewarding and fulfilling role I could have ever wished for.

What Makes My Approach Different

My background isn't typical for a therapeutic coach, and that's exactly what makes it powerful.

Creative Foundation

With dance, movement, and arts deeply embedded in my approach, sessions aren't confined to traditional formats. We might move around the room, use creative exercises, or simply have a conversation in whatever way feels right for you.

Life Experience

As a mother of five and someone who has navigated career changes, redundancies, and personal challenges, I understand what it feels like to face uncertainty and the need to rebuild.

Dual Training

My combination of dance movement psychotherapy and coaching training means I can work with both your emotional landscape and your practical goals.

Holistic Approach:

I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore all aspects of yourself without pressure or rigid structures.

Working Together

When we work together, you'll find someone who:

  • Listens with genuine curiosity and care
  • Adapts to your unique needs and preferences
  • Brings warmth and compassion to difficult conversations
  • Offers practical tools alongside emotional support
  • Respects your pace and process
  • Believes in your capacity for positive change

Beyond the Sessions

When I'm not working with clients, I'm still passionate about supporting people in different ways. I’d describe myself as a lifelong learner and I’m passionate about self-development, so I am constantly studying something!

I’ve worked hard to create space in my life and the energy to focus on this calling that feels so aligned with who I am at this stage of my life. The work I do is a gift. Every client I see helps me to develop my practice and I believe the people I work with deserve nothing less than my best.

If you're considering therapeutic coaching and wondering whether we might be a good fit, I'd love to hear from you.

Every coaching relationship begins with a discovery session where we can explore your situation and see how I might be able to help. There's no pressure, no obligation, just an opportunity to talk through what's on your mind.

Sometimes the hardest part is simply reaching out. But that first step, however small it feels, can be the beginning of meaningful change.
